Who We Are
Share I AM is a Christ-centered ministry devoted to revealing the indwelling Christ and awakening the Bride of Christ.
Our name comes from His eternal identity — “I AM” — the Source of life, identity, and completeness. In Him, we find our true being and purpose.
We are not a movement of religion, but a call into relationship.
We are not building an institution, but seeking His Kingdom — His life revealed in and through His people.
Our Vision
We believe that every revelation of God through the ages forms part of a divine tapestry — each generation adding a layer, each ministry a building block in the unfolding of His Kingdom.
Share I AM is one of these stones, faithfully positioned to serve the greater Body of Christ and contribute to the complete picture of His glory.
Our Calling
At Share I AM, we are committed to:
Proclaiming Christ in us, the hope of glory.
Awakening the Bride to her true identity in Him.
Building upon the revelations entrusted to the Church through generations.
Walking in unity with the greater Body of Christ to reveal His fullness.

To share I AM — that Christ may be revealed in us and through us.
Our History
Share I AM was founded by Johann and his wife, Elzerie van der Westhuizen, after more than two decades of ministry involvement across South Africa and beyond. Their journey began with the Jesus Project under Rev. Jannie Pelser, where they became activists raising awareness against Hollywood’s misuse of the Lord’s name. Through petitions, public action, and direct engagement with film producers, they played a part in encouraging greater accountability in the entertainment industry.
During this time Johann also traveled with Rev. Jannie on numerous crusades across South Africa and Mozambique, often serving as sound engineer and logistical support.
From there, Johann together with Manie du Toit and others became a founding member of Sport Balls for Christ—later renamed Living Ball—where he helped lay the foundation for a ministry that impacted communities through sports and evangelism.
The next chapter led Johann and Elzerie to join Wordfocus Ministries International under Pastor J.B. (Jannie) van Zyl. Here, their roles grew through crusades, Bible schools, editing teaching materials, and later co-authoring publications with Pastor Jannie. Over time, they stepped into authorship themselves, shaping messages that continue to edify the Body of Christ.
When Pastor Jannie retired, a new season was born—Share I AM.
